This page explains what data we collect when you visit iamrescueready.com.
What we collect
When you visit our site, the tools listed below automatically collect standard log information (your approximate location, browser type, device, pages you view, and time of visit) plus anonymized usage patterns (clicks, scrolls, and a recording of how you move through the site). You can opt out at any time — see Your choices below. We set Microsoft Clarity up to hide whatever you type into form fields, so its recordings do not capture it.
We do not collect payment info, health info, or government IDs.
Who we use
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use this site. It sets cookies (such as _ga) and collects page and session data, your approximate location, and your browser and device information. You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. See the Google Privacy Policy for their handling.
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use this site so we can improve it. It uses cookies and similar identifiers. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement for their handling. Google Analytics and Clarity are the only third-party tools on this site; we run no advertising or ad-targeting trackers. We do not sell your data.
When you join the interest list
If you submit an interest-list form (such as the Pet CPR waitlist), we collect your email address, and optionally your name and the type of pet you have. We use this only to notify you when registration opens for that class and to send the first class details. We do not share this information with third parties or use it for unrelated marketing.
When you book a class
Booking happens on our own scheduling site at classes.iamrescueready.com. We collect your name, email address, and phone number so we can hold your seat, send you class details, and reach you if a class changes. Payment is handled by Stripe, our payment processor. Your card details go to Stripe directly and are never stored on our systems. See Stripe’s Privacy Policy for how they handle payment information. We keep a record of the classes you booked and the certifications you earned so we can verify your certification later. The scheduling site also uses Google Analytics (not Microsoft Clarity) in the same way as this site, shows the same short notice, and honors the same Opt out and “Do Not Track” choices. We do not sell your data.
Your choices
When you first visit, a short notice tells you we use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. If you click Opt out on that notice, or your browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal, neither tool loads and we remember your choice so you’re not asked again. You can change your mind any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page — it clears your saved choice and shows the notice again. You can also disable cookies in your browser.
