This class does not include CPR. If you babysit, CPR and First Aid are skills you want to have. We recommend also taking our Core CPR, AED & First Aid class, which covers CPR for children and infants, using an AED, and First Aid.

Who this class is for

This class is for teens and young adults who are interested in babysitting, or who already look after younger family members. You don’t need any experience. Parents: it’s a good way to help a young babysitter feel prepared, and to feel good about handing them the job.

How you pass

There is no written test. Your instructor coaches you through each skill first, then you show the required hands-on skills on your own, in class. Pass and you earn an HSI (Health & Safety Institute) certification card that is valid for 2 years.
